Ordering information

Sales to bookstores, retail stores, catalogs, schools, and libraries: Our books are available from Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Booksource, Brodart, Follett, regional wholesalers, etc., or you may order directly from us. In Canada, our books are distributed by Fitzhenry & Whiteside. Please call us for our discount schedules.

Exam and desk copies: Please make your exam copy request on official letterhead and describe the course under consideration. Exam copies are $5; please enclose check or credit card information. Gratis desk copies are sent to instructors upon request after we receive formal notice of a text adoption/college bookstore order.

Sales to individuals: Books from Tilbury House are available in bookstores nationwide. If a title is not on the shelves, your bookstore can special-order it for you. If you wish to order from us directly, please call our 800 number below, or fax or mail us an order.

Out of respect to our independent bookstore friends, we don't sell books directly from our website; we hope you'll patronize your local bookstore and ask for our books.

Shipping

We can ship your book order by media mail, priority mail, UPS, or (in Maine) Maine Parcel. Please let us know your preference when you call with an order. You can also call for a shipping estimate if you plan to order by mail with a check. Maine residents will need to pay 5% sales tax.

Catalogs

To be "greener," we are relying more and more on our website and newsletter as marketing tools. We have printed catalogs available, but in limited numbers. You can also download and print our current catalogs from the PDF files below.

PDFs are about 5 MB. Approximate download time: fast (56Kb) dialup, 9 minutes; DSL or cable, less than 1 minute.
